The lack of a digital system also meant that HR managers and assessors couldn’t view individual employee data at any point without requesting a copy of the folder. They also recognised the environmental impact of such paper-heavy processes and was committed to achieving sustainability goals by transitioning to more eco-friendly systems.
This provider partnered with Appetite to address the challenges of their paper-based competency management system. We custom-built a digital competency management system using SharePoint and PowerApps to streamline competency processes and improve overall efficiency. The system allows employees to submit evidence, enables assessors to review and assess competencies, and provides real-time visibility for HR managers. The tailored solution ensures seamless tracking of competencies, enhancing safety, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
