President Trump was elected as US president, the worst recession in generations hit the Energy sector and climate change came into force. Meanwhile, in a kitchen in Aberdeen, Sheryl Newman started to hatch a plan for a new business.
She saw an opportunity to use the knowledge she had gained in the industry to offer something different within the Microsoft 365 space.
A vision to provide a unique understanding of how business could use and get the most out of their 365 licences across PowerApps, PowerAutomate, Power BI, AI CoPilot, SharePoint, Viva, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.

With three decades industry experience helping organisations to implement collaborative learning solutions, I was remote working before it was even a thing. I’m committed to customer excellence and a dedicated advocate for community, social and environmental impact.
I am on the Membership Advisory Board for the Learning and Performance Institute and also the Digital Innovation Chair at Aberdeen Renewables Group. I’ve been recognised as a leading UK Female Leader with a number of industry awards.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and our chocolate labrador Buddy and we love exploring hidden spots in the UK in our van.
Hi, I’m Andy, Appetites Technical Director.
With over 17 years working with Microsoft Technologies and 7 years at Appetite, I’ve played a technical advisory role in driving continuous improvements within Appetite, working alongside Sheryl to drive strategy and also lead Appetite’s technical team.
I play a fundamental strategic role in actively engaging with both existing and new customers to unlock the full value of their Microsoft 365 environment. I have a huge commitment to fostering a customer-first approach, collaborating with customers to align Appetite’s technical services with their unique current needs. This ensures they form a solid technical foundation on which to align future AI needs.
Outside of work, I’m a keen supporter of my local football team, attending matches whenever I can. I also love getting out and about climbing up the Munros (mountains over 3000ft in height) around Scotland.
